St. Malachy's Hurling Club was formed in 1959 and quickly became a recognised force in the game. The club first tasted success in 1964 when a talented group of young hurlers captured the Armagh Minor Title. Back-to-back Senior County Championship wins in 1966 and 1967 were also achieved.
Today we consist of an under 12, under 14 and senior team, the senior team won the junior hurling championship in 2004 and then again in 2008 and 2009, they are now looking toward promotion into division 1 and have ambitions to win an Ulster title.
